India vs South Africa Weather: 2nd T20 St George’s Park Gqeberha Weather Update and Pitch Report Today | Cricket News

After a washout in India’s tour-opening first T20I in Durban, the teams have arrived in the port city of Gqeberha in hope of getting action underway, but the rain clouds have followed them to the Eastern Cape province in South Africa.
Persistent rain in Durban didn’t even allow the toss to take place, with the umpires eventually calling off the contest.

The weather for the second T2oI on December 12 isn’t very promising either.

The afernoon forecast at the time of this report said ‘99% cloud cover with a couple of showers’, while it is expected to clear up a little towards the evening but still with 89% cloudy skies.

The match is scheduled to begin 5 pm local time, which is 8:30 pm in India.
The teams arrived in Gqeberha on Monday in a cheerful mood, hoping to get a game under the belt.

The three-match series is a test for youngsters in the two teams, who are virtually auditioning for the T20 World Cup to be held next year in the USA and the West Indies.
